The “Royal Canadian Air Cadets” is a national organization of Canadian youth between the ages of 12 and 19. The organization is made possible through a partnership between the Department of National Defence, the Canadian Armed Forces and the Air Cadet League of Canada.
Young Canadians participate in a variety of fun, challenging and rewarding activates. They learn valuable life and work skills such as Citizenship, Leadership, Team work, Drill, Marksmanship, Communication Skills, Self- Discipline, Sell- Confidence and Aviation. The program has something for all Canada’s youth. Whether it is participating in an Effective Speaking Competition, playing in a marching band, competing in a biathlon or soaring in a glider, our air cadets are having fun while learning and building lasting friendships.
The Air Cadet Program is made possible through the efforts of many volunteers that freely contribute their time and talents at the local, provincial and national levels of the “Air Cadet League of Canada.”
I am honoured to have the opportunity to serve as Chair of the Nova Scotia Provincial Committee – Air Cadet League of Canada.
“Our Youth of Today – Leaders of tomorrow” need our support! Let us all do our part to create a strong and unified organization that will endeavour to build and protect this great youth movement.
